Hi – I’m Lori Winslow and I love to Organize
I don’t know where the desire came from to create order, though probably from my mother – but I do remember as a kid that I liked to mess up the monopoly money so I could straighten it back out – so yeah – I’m that kind of geek 🙂
As an employee, I always ended up creating systems for repetitive tasks in the office or documenting the tasks being done. I have created more process manuals than I can remember, but I didn’t even know that’s what they were called until several years after I had already been doing it. And this is where I find that I’m able to help the most people, by creating systems. Systems don’t have to be boring or even rigid, but they are necessary for long term success.
I spent most of my professional career in the medical field, and have helped create systems in many different types of businesses, including LED light sales, heating services, and catering.
As a certified coach, I bring a strong ability to listen and to cut to the heart of the matter. Excuses won’t get your business organized.
Of course, I don’t limit the content on this site to just your business. I believe that working from home creates a different set of challenges and since we work at home – it’s all related. So that means I will offer tips and advice mostly for the business, but that often can be used in all areas of your life and business. In real life, I’m married and the step-mom to grown up step-son and dog mom to a demanding little Min-Pin named, Butch. And if you listen to any audio or video it is likely you will hear him in the back round at some point, he doesn’t like it when he’s not the center of attention.
