Are You Letting the Hurdles Keep You From the Finish Line?

Thank you for Sharing

Sam Davidson doesn’t waste words. His posts are often short just like this one – The Hurdle is Not The Finish Line.

All too often we do stop once we get past the “hurdle” – I know I can be guilty of this – we lose sight of the real goal.

The hurdles aren’t the point. The finish line is.

Have you ever had stopped short of the finish line after crossing a hurdle?

If you have, next time, set a timer, take a short break to let your mind clear and then get right back to work – meet the goal, don’t just jump the hurdle.

Reading this short post is not going to be a hurdle 😉

I’d love to hear what you think in the comments below.

  1. Very thought provoking post, Lori. Perhaps I have been guilty of this in the past because I decided not to see something through to the end. I will be more mindful in the future.
